Charlie's 1st Birthday

Today was Charlie's 1st Birthday! That first day in an incubator in Intensive Care seems like an age ago. We had a little tea party for Charlie, Oliver & Harvey.

Charlie's presents included a tricycle from Oliver (compare the picture below to the ones in this post)....

..and some chickens (see previous post) although to save trouble we've had to tell Oliver that one of them is his.

Our Chickens

Our new chickens arrived today along with their new house (called an Eglu) from a company called Omlet.

The chickens are Gingernut Ranger and Miss Pepperpot breeds. We haven't yet decided on their names.

They are too young to lay eggs at the moment but we can expect our first eggs within the next month.
