Chicken Update

The chickens laid their first eggs today (one each)!!! And one of them escaped through the fence into next door's garden - we had to quickly recover her before she damaged their garden like they destroyed some of our potted plants...

Our Chickens

Our new chickens arrived today along with their new house (called an Eglu) from a company called Omlet.

The chickens are Gingernut Ranger and Miss Pepperpot breeds. We haven't yet decided on their names.

They are too young to lay eggs at the moment but we can expect our first eggs within the next month.
